The Florida Aquarium

The  Florida Aquarium features a 250,000 square foot aquarium as well as a lush mangrove forest and apiary. The Florida Aquarium is home to over 7,000 aquatic animals, including sharks, stingrays, and sea turtles. Tickets typically range from $30-35 depending on the  day.

The Tampa Theater is a beautifully restored 1920s movie palace is on the National Register of Historic Places and features a variety of films, concerts, and other events throughout the year.

Ybor became a cultural hub for Italians, Cubans, Spaniards, and more during the 1900s. During this time cigar factories popped up across the city, many of which remain open or converted into stores today.

Tampa Baseball Museum

The Tampa Baseball Museum is a museum in the Ybor City neighborhood of Tampa, Florida. It is housed in the childhood home of hall of famer Al López, the first Tampa native to play and manage in the Major Leagues.

The American Victory

The American Victory Ship is one of only four operation World War Two merchant ships in the United States. The ship was built in an impressive 55 days in 1945 and served in World War Two, Korea and Vietnam. It is now a museum and features exhibits and artifacts that tell the story of the ship and its crew.
